  • Your entries into the Gauntlet must be orginial CAWs. No actual wrestlers.

  • CAWs must be submitted to me in the template provided here.

  • I operate soley as the commissioner of the Gauntlet. To curb any fears of bias I do not have a CAW entry of my own.

  • This is not a role playing game. All matches will be simmed using THQ's No Mercy video game for the N64. That being said, please feel free to get involved as creatively as you like. Role playing can be used to pump up events, ignite feuds, form alliances, etc. You can use the message board for this purpose. The Gauntlet is as fun as you make it.

  • You may have up to two CAW entries in the Gauntlet. In fact, it is encouraged that you do submit two CAWs because many of the events will call for team action. If you only have one CAW and you are required to compete in a team match you may request a partner or you will be assigned a random teammate.
    1. Odd Man Out Rule: If you have one CAW and are ever left without a partner you will be teamed with an average CAW of my own making.

  • There will be events each week. To learn more about them check out the EVENTS page. Your CAW(s) will be involved in every event. While the type of match is generally predetermined you can select your opponents. Both CAW managers, however, have to agree. No picking on the less fortunate. You can make your opponent requests on the message board. If you don't make a request or if your request is not accepted, your match opponent(s) will be randomly selected.
    1. Example: The Madness event is coming up. On this card every CAW will be in a Triple Threat match. You want to have your CAW take on Johnny and Bobby. You request the match on the message board. If Johnny and Bobby agree the match is set. If they don't and you don't make a successful request by the deadline for the event your opponents will be randomly determined. You can email me with any questions you might have about this. Once we get rolling it will be easier to follow.

  • At the beginning of each week you are permitted to make changes to your CAWs. So if you want to alter their arsenal of moves or give their image a little tweak, you can. No major image changes though, i.e. a light-heavyweight going to a super-heavyweight. These changes can only be done prior to the week's events and once you have submitted them your CAW must stick with the changes until the following week.

  • These are the basics. For more indepth info on the way the Gauntlet works be sure to check out the EVENTS and SCHEDULE pages. May the best CAW win.
